Occupational & Physical Therapy Services

Opelousas General Health System provides comprehensive Physical and Occupational Therapy Services by contract with Moreau Physical Therapy. Our team of therapists brings decades of clinical experience in both occupational and physical therapy. Because we provide services in the acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient environment, you'll have excellent continuity of care by staying within our team for each level of care.

Service locations:

  • Our outpatient adult therapy department is conveniently located on the first floor of the OGHS South Campus with easy access and parking accommodations.
  • Acute care services are located at the Main Campus and our experienced team provides excellent service and care to assist in decreasing each patient's length of stay and increasing our functional outcomes more quickly.
    • Acute care PT/OT is only provided at the Main campus.
  • The Wound Treatment Center is located on the third floor of the OGHS Main Campus.

Pediatric Therapy Services

The pediatric team with Moreau Physical Therapy focuses on offering comprehensive, interdisciplinary treatment plans to meet the specific needs of the exceptional children in our care. Our occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech language pathologists incorporate the most current, research-based treatment strategies and techniques into a fun, nurturing environment to achieve optimal outcomes for our patients and their families. Individual intervention sessions take place within our clinic in a fun, nurturing environment.
