Bedside Medication Delivery Service

This complimentary bedside service delivers medication to your bedside before you leave the hospital. Getting your medication before you leave the hospital not only saves you time but gets you on the road to recovery faster!

It is as easy as 1-2-3:

• 1.Choose to participate
• 2.Simply notify your nurse or OGHS staff and a pharmacy team member will deliver your medication to your bedside.
• 3.Your co-payment will be collected at the time of delivery

FAQs

Can my prescription be put on my hospital bill?

Prescriptions filled upon discharge cannot be added to your hospital bill.

Do you accept my insurance plan?

OGHS's outpatient pharmacy accepts a majority of prescription insurance plans and directly bills your prescription to your insurance provider. You are responsible for any co-payment required by your insurance carrier at the time of prescription delivery.

What type of payments do you accept for prescriptions and supplies?

OGHS outpatient pharmacy accepts cash, credit & debit cards and flexible spending cards.

Is there a cost associated with this service?

There is no additional cost to you for this service. Your cost is the same as what you would pay at a retail pharmacy.

How do I let the pharmacy know what I would like my discharge prescriptions delivered to my bedside?

Simply notify your nurse or other OGHS staff member before discharge.

How will I be notified when my prescriptions are ready?

A pharmacy staff member will deliver your prescription to your bedside and offer medication counseling.

Where is OGHS Pharmacy?

Two convenient service windows are available on the 1st floor, in the Emergency Room waiting area and next to Admissions.
