Visiting Policies

Visitors are important to your recovery; however, rest is equally important for you and for other patients.  Because of this, we ask that all visitors observe the following rules:

Children under 16 are not allowed to visit after the hour of 8:30 p.m.

The ER entrance will be the only entrance into the hospital after 8:30 p.m., thus directing all traffic by the security guard posted at this entrance.

Only one person aged 16 years or older may remain with the patient.

The ICU waiting area should be utilized for emergencies only or during visitor hours. Sleeping overnight is discouraged. No children allowed after 8:30 p.m.

All visitors should talk quietly.

Visitors may be asked to leave the room while medical procedures are being performed.

Visitors should leave the room when a physician enters. Upon request, guest rooms are available for a nightly fee for family members and relatives. Call admissions at ext., 5358 for more information.

ICU visiting times are approximate and will be announced by a staff member. Each patient will be allowed four visitors at a time for a period not to exceed 20 minutes.
