Specific Transportation Using Medicaid

All Medicaid beneficiaries, who are eligible for transportation services and DO NOT receive transportation services through a managed care plan, should call 1-855-325-7626.

Medicaid Medical Transportation Eligibility:

Medicaid covered transportation is available to Medicaid beneficiaries when:

  • The beneficiary is enrolled in a Medicaid benefit program that explicitly includes transportation services; and
  • The beneficiary or their representative has stated that they have no other means of transportation.

Must call at least 48 hours before day of appointment. Before calling, make sure you have the date and time of your appointment, and the name and address of the doctor/hospital. Notify them if you require assistance due to wheelchair, scooter and/or oxygen.
