Paint the Town Pink

Paint the Town Pink has been an initiative of the Opelousas General since 2006, the overwhelming support from our community has enabled us to provide free mammograms and breast screenings to those in need. This initiative also gives patients the opportunity or excellent treatment at our cancer center, Centre de la Vie, the first center in the Acadiana region offering chemotherapy, hematology, and infusion therapy in one location. OGHS Foundation Golf Open

Please join us for the 19th Annual OGHS Foundation Golf Open on Monday, March 31, 2025, for a spectacular day of play and prizes in two flights at the Farm d'Allie Golf Course in Carencro, La. The Opelousas General Health System Foundation holds this annual golf event to raise funds for scholarships for students in St. Landry and Evangeline Parishes. This tournament has provided over 200 scholarships to students graduating from high school and non-traditional students returning to school to further their education. Hall of Fame Gala

The Opelousas General Health System Foundation Hall of Fame provides a forum for the hospital to recognize, celebrate and publicize the work of exemplary individuals whose longstanding contributions have lasting impact on the hospital, the community and the patients we serve.
