Opelousas General Health System Welcomes Marjorie LeDay

Opelousas General Health System welcomes Marjorie LeDay, FNP-BC, to Opelousas General Nephrology Clinic. She joins nephrologist Adam Shepard, M.D. Marjorie has been employed with Opelousas General since 1999 and brings extensive experience and skill from her 30-year career as a clinician.

Marjorie received her Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) certification from Louisiana Technical College Acadian Campus in Crowley, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette. In 2023 Marjorie graduated from Southern University and A&M College with a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner.

Marjorie is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, certified Critical Care Registered Nurse, and certified in both adult and pediatric advanced life support. She is a recipient of the 2017 OGHS” Daisy Award” for Extraordinary Nurses. Marjorie is also a retired U.S. Army Major.
