Opelousas General Health System (OGHS) announces a transformative partnership with Triad Executive Advisors, an Acadiana-based technology solutions provider. This collaboration will enhance healthcare technology at OGHS. The agreement was effective December 1 and ensures stability, security, and efficiency, enabling providers to focus on exceptional patient care.
Empowering Staff and Patients Through Reliable Technology
With an outstanding history of providing high-quality healthcare to its community, OGHS’s collaboration with Triad is the next step to reach even greater levels of care for its patients.
“After more than six months consulting with OGHS, Triad proved very capable of taking our entire suite of healthcare technology to the next level,” stated Lance Armentor, BSM, MHA, President & CEO of Opelousas General Health System. “We are very confident in our partnership’s ability to create transformative change.”
“The goal is to improve Opelousas General’s technology significantly,” said Chris Cotteleer, CEO of Triad Executive Advisors. “Hospital providers, employees, and staff should expect that the technology ‘just works.’ This will allow them to focus on what really matters: serving the patients.”
Shaping the Future of Healthcare at Opelousas General
Since May 2024, OGHS & Triad have conducted a comprehensive assessment of the hospital’s critical technology needs. This effort has already yielded proven results, including reconfiguring the Stratus PACS Imaging System to operate 15 times faster with greater stability and security.
“This partnership represents more than just a one-time technology upgrade – it’s a long-term investment in the growth of our health system,” added Armentor.
The collaboration extends beyond immediate changes, with a strategic roadmap targeting enhancements in key areas such as the hospital’s EMR, Imaging, Network Operations, Security, and Operational Systems.
Through this roadmap, OGHS is not only establishing a technical foundation for the future but, more importantly, equipping its providers & staff with the tools they need to continue to deliver the exceptional healthcare it prides itself on.
“For us, technology is a people business,” said Cotteleer. “At its core, technology is binary—ones and zeros. What makes the difference is the vision and execution of the people behind it. At Triad, our mission is to bring together the best talent to serve hospitals like Opelousas General and the communities they serve.”
