Opelousas General Health System Welcomes Dr. Zachariah Francois to the OGHS Medical Staff!

Dr Zachariah Francois, Psychiatrist, recently joined the OGHS Medical Staff. He is originally from Chalmette, LA. He specializes in psychiatry and psychotherapy and the treatment and management of psychosis and schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, OCD, ADHD, dementia, Tardive Dyskinesia and other mental health conditions.

Dr. Francois received his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, AL. He completed his internship at Louisiana State University – UHC in Family Medicine and completed his residency at University of the Incarnate Word in Psychiatry in San Antonio, TX.

He is practicing at WellSmart Health Rural Health Clinic located at 1200 Hospital Drive, Suite 5, Opelousas, LA. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Appointments are now being accepted by calling 337-678-4285.
