Opelousas General Health System would like to welcome Dr. Adam Shepard

Opelousas General Health System would like to welcome Dr. Adam Shepard, Nephrologist to the OGHS Medical Staff. He is originally from Baltimore, MD. He is Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine and specializes in the treatment of acute & chronic kidney diseases and other conditions and disorders of the kidneys.

Dr. Shepard received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, FL and completed his internship, residency and fellowship training from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, LA.

He is joining Dr. Pierce Park, Nephrologist, at WellSmart Health Nephrology Clinic on the OGHS South Campus located at 3975 I-49 South Service Road, Suite 200, Opelousas, LA. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Appointments are by referral and can be made by calling 337-594-3906.
