OGHS Foundation Golf Tournament Raises $65K

The Opelousas General Health System Foundation Golf Tournament held Monday, June 22, 2020, was a huge success! 140 players from 35 teams filled the golf course at Farm d’Allie Golf Club in Carencro and a record breaking $65K was raised benefiting the Foundation Scholarship Program.
First place winners of the tournament were Patrick Sarsfield, Blake Schultz and Chris Warner from Patrick Sarsfield’s team. Second place went to the team representing C & B Pumps and Compressors1 and third place went to the Gachassin Law Firm team.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the OGHS Foundation and will be used for scholarships for individuals pursuing careers in healthcare for 2021-2022 academic year. The OGHS Foundation recently awarded $40,000 to 10 individuals for the 2020-2021 academic year.
