Opelousas General Announces Appointment of Robert Wolfe, Jr. to the Board of Trustees

Gina Bradley Tuttle, Chairman of the OGHS Board of Trustees announced today that the Hospital Service District #2 Board of Directors has appointed Robert Wolfe, Jr., to serve on the Opelousas General Hospital Trust Authority Board of Trustees. Mr. Wolfe, a civil engineer and president of Morgan Goudeau & Associates, will replace Greg Bordelon, who recently resigned. Mr. Wolfe was born and reared in Opelousas. Robert is the son of Betty Goudeau Wolfe and the late Robert L. Wolfe, Sr. He and his wife, Marie “MiMi” Quirk Wolfe continue to reside in Opelousas. They have 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren. As a Professional Civil Engineer, Professional Land Surveyor, and a Professional Environmental Engineer, he has been employed with Morgan Goudeau & Associates, Inc. since his graduation from LSU in December, 1977.
Robert is a member of the Louisiana Society of Professional Surveyors, Louisiana Engineering Society and the American Waterworks Association. As Co-Owner of Morgan Goudeau & Associates, Inc., the firm serves as Parish Engineers for St. Landry and Grant Parishes, and City Engineers for Opelousas, Arnaudville, Port Barre, and Cankton. Robert has served on the Board of First Federal Savings and Loan, Teche Federal Bank and is currently on the Advisory Board of Iberia Bank. His recent endeavors include the restoration of the Historic Hotel Lesage, the First Bank of Colfax and the beginning stages of the Valley Drug Store. All were built Circa 1902 in Colfax, Louisiana. He enjoys hunting, fishing and working outdoors. “We are very pleased with the appointment of Robert Wolfe to the OGHS Board of Trustees. He will bring a new perspective from an industry that has been instrumental in growing and maintaining our infrastructure. He will undoubtedly be a great asset to our health system,” said Tuttle. Ms. Tuttle stated that Greg Bordelon, Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo, has served on the OGHS Board of Trustees since July of 1993, and has been a tremendous resource to the OGHS Board. His experience in financial planning has provided the Board with expert knowledge and advice to help further grow the Opelousas General Health System. He will be greatly missed. “We thank Mr. Bordelon for his dedication to Opelousas General Health System and wish him much success in his future endeavors”, said Tuttle.
