11th Annual OGHS Foundation Golf Tournament Another Success

The Opelousas General Health System Foundation Golf Tournament held Monday, March 20, 2016 at Indian Hills Country Club was another huge success. Over $45,000 was raised for scholarships.
First place winners of the tournament were M & M Sales, second place winners were Lafayette General Health and coming in third place was Gachassin Law Firm.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the OGHS Foundation and will be used for scholarships for individuals pursuing careers in healthcare. The scholarship amounts include full payment of tuition to LSU–Eunice, LSU-Alexandria, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Southern University, South Louisiana Community College-TH Harris campus and the Lafayette Campus for the approved healthcare related programs. Scholarship applications for this year are currently being accepted.
