OGHS Welcomes Dr. Laura Owens

Opelousas General Health System is pleased to welcome Dr. Laura Owens, urologist to our medical staff.

Dr. Owens specializes in Urology. She received her medical training from LSU Health School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA and completed her internship and residence at LSU Health – Shreveport, LA, Department of Urology where she served as Chief Resident.

Originally from New York, Dr. Owens joined the medical practice of Southern Urology with Dr. John Vallee on August 1st. She is a member of the American Urological Association.
